Detailed Itinerary
Arrival
You’ll be collected from the airport.
Accommodation before the tour starts can be arranged for an extra cost.
Day 1:
On your arrival at Entebbe International Airport you will be received by our representative then transfer to Laico Lake Victoria Hotel or Carpe Diem guest house.
Day 2:
After an early breakfast drive north to Murchison Falls National Park you will have a stopover at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary and then you track the White Rhino then you go to Kabalega Diners restaurant and have Lunch. In the afternoon you proceed to Murchison driving through the Royal Mile at Budongo Forest on arrival you check in the Lodge. Paraa Safari Lodge OR Pakuba Safari Lodge. Full Board.
Day 3:
Wake up early and have a quick cup of coffee/tea at 6.00 am you go for a game drive on the Buligi circuit to view a variety of wildlife and then have breakfast. In the morning you relax by the swimming pool and possibly have a dip or you may make use of the sauna and health club then have lunch. At 2.00 pm you go for a launch trip on the Victoria Nile to the bottom of the Falls, here you will view a variety of birds and wildlife and then return to the Lodge. Day 4:
After breakfast you cross the ferry and then drive to the Top of the Falls, you will take a short walk to Falls and you will see how the Nile waters are forced into a gorge 7m wide as they plunge down 35m below the escarpment in a majestic cascade. Then you proceed to Kibale Forest National Park driving through Masindi and Hoima towns where you will have a picnic Lunch on arrival you will check in the Lodge. Night at Isunga Lodge OR Chimpanzee Forest Lodge. Full board
Day 5:
Wake up early have breakfast and go for a briefing at 8.30 am you enter the forest to track the Chimpanzee and you will view other primates you will have a picnic lunch in the Forest. In the afternoon you will drive to Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary for a nature walk where you will view a variety of birds and some wildlife and you visit KAFRED craft center then return to the Lodge. Night at Isunga Lodge OR Chimpanzee Forest Lodge. Full board
Day 6:
After breakfast you drive to the Top of the World spot for a panoramic view of the crater lakes in the Kasenda area then proceed to Queen Elizabeth National Park you will enter through the Kikorongo gate and drive by the craters to the peninsula then check in the Lodge. Night at Mweya Safari Lodge OR Buffalo Safari Lodge. Full board
Day 7:
Wake up early and have a quick cup of coffee/tea at 6.00 am you go for a game drive to view a variety of wildlife and then have breakfast. In the morning you relax by the swimming pool and possibly have a dip or you may make use of the sauna and health club then have lunch. At 2.00 pm you go for a launch trip on the Kazinga Channel, here you will view a variety of birds and wildlife and then return to the Lodge. Mweya Safari Lodge OR Buffalo Safari Lodge. Full board
Day 8:
After breakfast and you drive to the southern sector of the park at Ishasha and begin your search for the tree climbing Lions then go for a picnic lunch by the Ishasha River. In the afternoon you proceed to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park on arrival you check in your Lodge. Night at Mahogany Springs Lodge OR Buhoma Havens Lodge. Full board
Day 9:
Wake up early have breakfast and you go for a briefing at 8.00 am you enter the forest to track the Mountain Gorillas, tracking can be challenging and so we expect that you are in a reasonably fit condition. You will be thrilled to have come close to these primates you will have a picnic lunch in the forest and the return journey will be easier. Night at Mahogany Spring Lodge OR Buhoma Havens Lodge
Day 10:
After breakfast you drive to Lake Mburo National Park on arrival you check in your Lodge and have Lunch. In the afternoon you go for a Boat trip on Lake Mburo and to view a variety of birds and wildlife then return to the Lodge. Night at Mburo Safari Lodge OR Rwakobo Rock Lodge. Full board
