Take on this 9 Day Gorillas & Wildlife Safari and experience the Savannah and rain-forest jungle on the holiday. The tour first takes you to Kibale forest to meet our primate cousin, the chimpanzee, then for a game drive and boat cruise in Queen Elizabeth National Park and lastly we meet up with elusive Mountain Gorilla in the misty Bwindi Forest National Park .

Day 1: Arrival and Transfer to Entebbe for overnight Hotel
Upon you arrival through Entebbe International Airport, you will be welcomed by our guide and transferred to your Carpe Diem BB.
Day 2:
After breakfast drive western Uganda to Kibale Forest National Park via Fort Portal and Mubende on arrival you check in your hotel and then have Lunch. In the afternoon you visit the Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary for a nature walk to view a variety birds and some primates later you visit the KAFRED center and see how the women are engaged in making handicrafts for the visitors then return to the Hotel. Isunga Lodge OR Chimpanzee Forest Lodge. Full Board.
Day 3:
Wake up early have breakfast and go for a briefing at 8.30 am you enter the forest to track the Chimpanzee and you will view other primates then return to the base and proceed to the Lodge for Lunch. In the afternoon you drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park on arrival you check in your Lodge. Mweya Safari Lodge OR Buffalo Safari Lodge. Full board
Day 4:
Wake up early and have a quick cup of coffee/tea at 6.00 am you go for a game drive to view a variety of wildlife and then have breakfast. In the morning you relax by the swimming pool and possibly have a dip or you may make use of the sauna and health club then have lunch. At 2.00 pm you go for a launch trip on the Kazinga Channel, here you will view a variety of birds and wildlife and then return to the Lodge. Mweya Safari Lodge OR Buffalo Safari Lodge. Full board
Day 5:
After breakfast and you drive to the southern sector of the park at Ishasha and begin your search for the tree climbing Lions then go for a picnic lunch by the Ishasha River. In the afternoon you proceed to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park on arrival you check in your Lodge. Night at Mahogany Springs Lodge OR Buhoma Havens Lodge. Full board
Day 6:
Wake up early have breakfast and you go for a briefing at 8.00 am you enter the forest to track the Mountain Gorillas, tracking can be challenging and so we expect that you are in a reasonably fit condition. You will be thrilled to have come close to these primates you will have a picnic lunch in the forest and the return journey will be easier. Night at Mahogany Spring Lodge OR Buhoma Havens Lodge
Day 7:
After breakfast you drive to Lake Mburo National Park on arrival you check in your Lodge and have Lunch. In the afternoon you go for a Boat trip on Lake Mburo and to view a variety of birds and wildlife then return to the Lodge. Night at Mburo Safari Lodge OR Rwakobo Rock Lodge. Full board
Day 8:
After breakfast you begin your journey to Kampala you will have a stopover at Equator to take photographs and snacks for Lunch. On arrival in Kampala you check in your Hotel. Hotel Africana. Half board
Day 9:
After breakfast you go for a city tour that will take you to Cathedrals kabaka’s palace craft village, the mosques, at old Kampala, then have lunch at a palace of your choice. Thereafter you are transferred for your evening flight at Entebbe International Airport.
